Ahh, life on the west coast.
We're never in a rush because the entire business world is based on Eastern Time so by the time we roll out of our beds, decisions have already been made in some office in NYC and we'll stir up some chorizo burritos and fix the mess by lunch.

Wake up in the morning and check work stuff out. "Huh? What? You guys decided to do what? Ok. This would've made more sense, but whatever. You run the show. Guess I'll go back to bed since my show has been changed. Oh, I've been taken off the last flight too and get an early release because of flight/duty limits? Works for me!"
Me when they inevitably call me on the schedule change: "Show has been changed? Gotcha. You're pay protecting me right? Ok good. Have a wonderful day!"

I've always wondered why there weren't more of these. I get the feeling that lots of the normal career fair candidates are just trolling for a bite, where as in house you'll get the candidates that really want to come to YOUR company. Probably get a better hit rate that way.
Can I come just wander around the museum? I'd still take the free ride (and pizza). Not interested in applying though

Was eyeing the site and actually got in before the tweet went out, clicked the second the slots went active, managed to make it to a registration for one time period, when I finished it said that the slot was full. I kept trying all of the other slots and no luck. Congrats to the ones that managed to get one. I guess my computer/network wasn't fast enough.

Its such an unfair process! I DESERVE a ticket! <sarcasm> The same type of folks have matriculated over to my current employer...Example: Students walking out of the classroom because they didn't get the seat they wanted... SMH.
