yes yes you caught me...it is me. I did go to NY PEPC on July 9th and yup I'm moving cross country to Stockton, CA woot woot lol. :sarcasm: And I do remember you pm.

I believe David said no classes till the next fiscal year i think October is included in FY 09? not sure dont quote me on that.

Its funny though the 20 pages of paperwork is mostly paperwork we already sent them LOL. Like the family relations, working for federal job....etc

You'd think they would have the info after the 1st time we gave it to them :D

They didnt call me I called Charlene Sade and asked her how the process was going since i ddint have a firm date yet for the academy. She said let me check your paperwork, typed in a few things, told me everything was back but my medical and she was able to put me in a class even without that back. Told me October 21st was the first available, i said ill take it, then she told me to expect an e-mail and hard copy. I received the e-mail about one week later.

Yea.... so I got a call Monday night from a guy that works for OPM. He said he needed to meet with me the next day... I'm thinking that this can't be good. Anyways, I meet with him, and first, he's really cool. He tells me there were 2 things on my credit report that I needed to sign a waiver for so that they could get some additional information on.... one was a car loan in which I paid a little less than what was owed and they accepted it, the other a medical bill that was in collections recently. It was really painless, but what bummed me was that he told me how many people got letters.... 12 employers, my 3 personal refrences, and 10 address verifiers! ACK! So much for my background going through this century... oh well, hopefully they're hiring in 2108!

BTW- that was the first time I got to see an official Federal Badge... pretty sweet... I want one!

I attended PEPC on July 10th and have heard absolutely nothing regarding myself, I have called Charlene Sade who is convienently been out of the office all week (8/11-8/18) and my Records guy Kevin Walleman who has also been out of the office (8/14 -15). I hope to find out something on monday when they both are supposed to return to their office.

Charlene Sade was out of the office cause she was at the PEPC in Chicago.

HAs anyone else heard back from there HR reps. Besides the LA PEPC we are the oldest PEPC waiting for FOL's. It is sad to see that our thread isn't on the first page.

Nope sorry, DFW Pepci waiting for FOL still here and kicking...don't count us out yet :P

I really wish you could count us out though...I would not mind having my FOL

well if they're that backlogged sounds like the NYC folks won't be getting october, a little more time is OK with me= more time to save $$

I got Oct 8th from the NYC PEPC, like stated before and in other threads...it just depends on your facility.

Yeah, don't worry too much. I am enroute and I was one of the "lucky" few who did not get squeezed into any of the fy 08 classes. So, I am just waiting for the new class dates for 09.

Well, me and 3 others from NYC PEPC have FOL's and are going to class Aug 26th...... all terminal. I read two more in other threads from NYC PEPC are going in Sep. also..... Things are moving I guess.:buck:

Heads up En-Routers, I just received a call from the aviation careers division regarding my class dates!!!!! I went to the NY PEPC on July 7th so it took just over 6 weeks. The class start date they gave me for basics was October 10th and I leave OKC on Feb 13th!!!!

The girl I talked to (I won't give her name due to a flood of calls she would get) said they do it by facility and each facility gets a certain number of slots at different times of the year. I will be heading to ZID (Indy Center)!!! WOO HOO!!! Keep your heads up, your call is coming

Just got an email from David T. saying he has a class date for me on Nov. 7th...this is for terminal and I went to the NYC PEPC.
