FlexJet

Starting pay in a Challenger 350 is anywhere between 125 and 150 for an untyped pilot. I don't know where you're getting 200 from. LOL

I'm a Challenger 300 pilot.

300 CAM and pay both of my captains north of $200k going into year 3. Sorry but $125-$150k is abysmally low.

NYC Metro, 91, everyone is a trip captain. Last hire was not typed Y1 $167 Y2 $180 Y3 $194 +$20k year end bonus.

IF I were bringing on a new pilot today (2022) I would fully expect to be paying a base of $190-200k Y1 before bonus. Personally I wouldn't stick around for less than that so why would they?

Ok, thanks.

Not sure a NYC Part 91 captain position is a fair comparison to a fractional first officer, but I live mid-country so may have a different perspective.

What region are you in? That certainly isn't the pay in South Florida and that is also well above average. I am also a 300 CAM.

Yup. That's what I suspected also. You may be pushing 200k in the Northeast and out in California. But is rare everywhere else.

You're not making $125k first year @ a legacy. Seriously I see job postings on Indeed for midsized business jets all the time. Starting day one. $120-150k.
Again news to me. My first year at my airline I was in that range. Sure, there are some airlines where first year is $50, but the folks know that going in; well, second year more than makes up for first years deficits, not to mention the DC, pension and so on.

Just remember to keep those credit cards handy and not buy the Ferrari until ~month 14, Player! Them checks don't teleport.

I was talking 1st year pay.

My opinion, if you can get on with Flexjet at your current total, go for it. You'll get a useful type rating, starting pay is $100k plus incentives, and you'll be earning time a lot faster than if you found a local gig flying for a management company. You need total time to be competitive for your next position.
