I can vouch for CAE as a company. They will treat you well.
I heard your standardization takes an abnormally painful amount of time. Is that true or are my sources just bad instructors....probably best to hear 2 sides to a story

It depends on what program you are in. If FAA side then maybe a week and you're good to go. If you are on the EASA European side then yes the certification can just take time before you get the green light. It's weird.
