still on page 2....but yes we know words have meaning...we also know you say that so that you are technically correct but the general public doesn't know that.
the point being he's trying to pretend to be something he isntAre we really caring what the general public knows/doesn’t know about Aviation now?
I’m just holding out hope they understand what the turn signals on their car are for and to wash their hands after taking a crap. I feel like understanding beyond that into the realm of aviation is a bit of a luxury.
I just used my finger. We couldn't afford pencils.
Be kind. Rewind.

I say "tarmac" just for the general publics' benefit.still on page 2....but yes we know words have meaning...we also know you say that so that you are technically correct but the general public doesn't know that.

You had fingers? Lucky!
I see you are triggered because you are one who does the same thing...Keep justifying it to yourself, it will be okay.Is there something about the internet that gives people magical powers to see others intentions?
Have you ever tried to give an elevator pitch explaining you you fly an airplane owned by company X, company X pays to maintain the airplane, and Company X pays your wages although indirectly since the paycheck actually has the name of the company you work for, and most people don't recognize the name of the company while everyone recognizes the name of your customer? It would be like contracting, but it's not your typical contracting since you serve no other customers. You could say it's a feeder, but people probably aren't going to know what that means. Obviously, you wouldn't make it nearly this far and you would have already lost anyones attention. I would rather try to explain boundary layer separation to a kindergärtner than what a feeder airline is to a person with a typical modern attention span.
"We have them at FedEx" - he flies a FedEx airplane from a FedEx facility with a camera that belongs to FedEx on a ramp that belongs to FedEx. When said airplane is on a FedEx ramp he is indeed "at FedEx" in the truest most literal sense of the phrase. Would it have been more clear to say "we have them on FedEx airplanes"? Sure. But only on the internet where people have way to much time on their hands and illogical chips on their shoulders would anyone care.
TL;DR - Grow up.
I see you are triggered because you are one who does the same thing...Keep justifying it to yourself, it will be okay.
Oh and when I worked for compass I never told anyone I worked for Delta or American. I said I worked for compass, when they asked I told them what it was. It's really not hard. What can I say, the internet has a way of bringing us all down to the lowest common denominator
Really, though, I was just standing up for the guy.
Wait. I thought we were supposed to say we were dolphin trainers. That's right isn't it?
Did I miss a memo?
From now on I’m just going to tell people I’m a head hunter for a major organ donor organization. But I won’t tell anyone who.
Some of you really need to get a life and an English education.
Man, I enjoy your postings but look at it from the outside. Based solely on your posting history/stories drama follows you like a stripper with daddy issues.
I really don't mean that in a negative way at all - good faith intended - because you've got some great stories.
Don't let any of this internet nonsense get you down. Just continue on with what you think is the right thing to do. There is a huge world out there with infinite possibilities. The internet and the forums you might frequent should pale in comparison to what you deal with in real life. It matters not what you say on the internet, in someones opinion you're wrong. Context is often lost, and a quote is easily twisted to fit an agenda. Suck it up buttercup, it's a brave new world. From now on I’m just going to tell people I’m a head hunter for a major organ donor organization. But I won’t tell anyone who.

That's cute.We have them at FedEx.
