Re: Plane Crash in Provo, Utah

Ben was a great guy who I've met several times. I don't really have words right now, but - Here's to you man - we'll all miss you

Re: Plane Crash in Provo, Utah

I believe it was him and his wife that we met at Red Iguana a while ago and my husband went shooting with him over the summer. From everything I knew he was a good guy! He will be missed for sure. I can't even imagine what his wife is going through right now!!! jtrain - do you have any way to contact Ben's wife so we can send flowers or something?

Re: Plane Crash in Provo, Utah

Wow.

It makes me wonder if the outcome would have been any different had he put it down in a field right underneath him at the first sign of trouble, rather than go for the airport.

But nobody knows. I don't want to Monday morning quarterback him.

RIP.

Yep. That's Ben. I remember meeting him at NJC07. I can't recall if he was there in 2006 or not.

neither of us has contact info for her. We have have his cell phone but that's it. Joe might have more info though. He's supposed to be calling John soon. I'll let you know if we get an address or funeral info

Re: Plane Crash in Provo, Utah

I never met the guy, but I know he was a great contributor to this site. I always enjoyed reading his input.

Re: Plane Crash in Provo, Utah

Never met him in person, but if his input here on JC was any measure of his IRL personality he must have been a fine individual.

A good member of our JC family is gone. :(

Re: Plane Crash in Provo, Utah

Great guy. Funny, thoughtful, and always willing to help with his insight. A big loss. RIP.
