Frontier Airlines is the proud recipient of the Federal Aviation Administrations 2018 Diamond Award for maintenance excellence and was recently named the industrys most fuel-efficient airline by The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) as a result of superior technology and operational efficiencies.<strong></strong></span></p><p><span><strong>What Will You Be Doing?</strong></span></p><p><span>The Crew Scheduling Intern will work with experienced Crew Schedulers in accordance with government and company regulations, airline schedule requirements, flight crew qualifications and flight crew collective bargaining agreements (CBA). As a Crew Scheduling Intern you will be supporting and learning the operational process involved with running an operation. The Crew Scheduling team is responsible for staffing and maintaining legal and contractual compliances for all Frontier Crew Members. You will be working closely with the Crew Scheduling team to support and implement decisions that contribute to running an operation. This internship is for <strong>Fall 2023: 9/11/2023 – 12/16/2023</strong></span><span><strong>, and is based in Denver, CO</strong>.</span></p><p><span> </span><span><strong>Essential Functions</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Assist in monitoring and maintaining federal legality and contractual compliance of flight crew member schedules for a 24 hour/7-day operation.</span></li><li><span>Coordinate with other System Operations Control (SOC) personnel, Flight Operations and Inflight management to ensure a safe, efficient and cost-effective operation.</span></li><li><span>Assist in assigning uncovered flying in accordance with federal regulations, contract rules, crewmember qualifications and established company policy and procedure.</span></li><li><span>Utilize multiple and varied software systems to complete assigned tasks.</span></li><li><span>Other duties as assigned by Crew Scheduling management.</span></li></ul><p><span><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Education path for BS/BA in related discipline – logistics, data analytics, statistics, operations research </span></li></ul><p><span><strong>Equipment Operated</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Standard office equipment, including PC, copier, fax machine, printer.</span></li></ul><p><span><strong>Work Environment</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Typical office environment, adequately heated and cooled.</span></li></ul><p><span><strong>Physical Effort</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Generally, not required.</span></li></ul><p><span><strong>Supervision Received</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Close Supervision: The incumbent is assigned duties according to specified procedures and receives detailed instructions.
