FAA to Donald Trump — You're Fired!

I'm still not flying the HOKEE2. I'll change my JC name from CAV fo Candyass, on my Obama phone, while sitting in the penalty box. Twice.
LOL I feel the same way when flying the cavlr2 into IAD. the Hokie in me just can't get on board with the name.
 
So it takes YEARS to get corrections published in the AFD ("No, we don't have JetA. Why?") or in the notes of an approach plate, but say something stupid and BAM! It's presto chango at the NACO.
It actually doesn't take very long to update the AFD. It sounds like someone at the airport is lazy.

Put them in the penalty box! FWIW, there is only one known charted penalty box in the country and you are usually put in that on an inbound leg when no gate is available.

Would I decline that arrival? No. But I wouldn't fault someone. Would you fault a female pilot if that had a problem with the STIFF1 Arrival? Or would you say get over it as that is candyass?

I expect professionalism in the cockpit. Refusing a clearance because you disagree with its name or fixes, is childish. Take up your problems elsewhere, through the right damn channels. Not with a controller who is just using the tools he has been given.

Say someone has a grievance with Disney. Such pilot is either a BlueJet, or Southern Jets pilot. They are going to either have a tough time with ATC, or make everyone else's life miserable. Act like an adult. Fly the route unless there is a legitimate reason for not accepting it. I'd love to be a chief pilot, and have someone in front of me for not accepting a clearance because of a reason like this.

"You did this because of what? So you are telling me you delayed a flight, burned more gas, cost is a few thousand dollars, and caused a problem for all the people in the back, because you don't like Donald Trump? Here's your suspension."

Sure, the union would probably get involved, there would be problems to sort out after the fact, etc. But so what. IMO, it's a valid reason to have to do the carpet dance. Take up your issues with the FAA. Don't involve the company in your personal vendetta. Don't involve other companies, and do your job. Which is getting the airplane from point a to point be in the most efficient, safest way possible.
 
If you are a professional pilot and you and the aircraft meet the requirement to fly a charted and legal procedure that is assigned then do your job professional and fly it. If you have a personal problem with then lobby congress, the FAA, local to change it.

Once again people looking to be offended. The fact that the FAA is even paying attention is a sad commentary. Social media is the harbinger of the destruction of this country, the pathetic thing is that we're doing it to ourselves. Just because your snowflake won a participation trophy in its soccer league does not make it some athlete. Brass tacks and kids being allowed to be kids, they get in trouble, you tune them up.
 
Now that's pathetic. Refuse to accept the procedure? Ok, then taxi to the penalty box, and we'll get around to you when we can work out a routing in and amongst everyone else.

The next time I'm departing ORD, I am refusing the O'Hare 8 departure!!!

The Feds introduced this procedure to mock him when he was flying his 727 out of PBI and complaining about jet noise over his house. Oh the irony. This departure is reportedly being changed because flight crews are refusing to accept it in light of his recent comments about Mexico.
how silly is that maybe those pilot don't use 1 dollar or 20 dollar bills because the have the face of Washington and Jefferson and both own slaves
