FAA to Donald Trump — You're Fired!

Now that's pathetic. Refuse to accept the procedure? Ok, then taxi to the penalty box, and we'll get around to you when we can work out a routing in and amongst everyone else.

It's at the level of complete candyass. Its so pathetic. Send their dumb asses to the penalty box.

Mark, do you actually have anything useful to add, or just your normal nonsensical drivel?

It's candyass. Get over it. Unless of course, you fit the bill.

Oh wow! So angry and full of themselves!

Put them in the penalty box! FWIW, there is only one known charted penalty box in the country and you are usually put in that on an inbound leg when no gate is available.

Would I decline that arrival? No. But I wouldn't fault someone. Would you fault a female pilot if that had a problem with the STIFF1 Arrival? Or would you say get over it as that is candyass?

Haven't we said that politics has no place in operations? Just do your job. So should someone offended by Crazy Woman VORTAC refuse a crossing restriction there, or to cross there at all? That would be ridiculous. Completely ridiculous to mess up flow, whether departure, enroute, or arrival, over something so idiotic.

So yes, just do one's job. Leave the politics elsewhere.

I did fly with a guy at Pinnacle one time who wanted to change our flight number because it was 9666.

Oh wow, I don't recall the name of the CA, but I had one request me to change the flight number because he didn't like our 4-digits. I don't even remember what they were exactly but he explained it and it had to do with bad luck or another. We actually did get it changed to 3 digits with a "A" at the end.

So should the ATC send them to the 'penalty box' automatically? Or when the pilot says unable try to work something out? Because they would doing their job by trying to make something else work.

Funny you should say that. I actually had an airline pilot request a different beacon code because the one I gave him was 4666. I immediately came back with, "Roger, squawk 5666." Dead silence for about ten seconds while I got him a real new code assignment.

Do you have to get him a new one? I'd have made him stick with it just so he could be paranoid looking skyward for the bolts of lightning all flight. :)

Unable for what reason? If the reason is because of this candyass reason of being "offended", then the pilot/crew should reexamine their priorities and their professionalism. Especially if what they're doing, begins affecting everyone else negatively, due to selfish reasons. Crew should be ashamed of that.

If it's a legitimate "unable", that's a different story and not what we're talking about here.

So it takes YEARS to get corrections published in the AFD ("No, we don't have JetA. Why?") or in the notes of an approach plate, but say something stupid and BAM! It's presto chango at the NACO.
