Keep that attitude... it will help you make it through a career with the FFA. Also, it probably won't be the most inexplicable thing that happens to you.

So what's the best way to go about it if you're interested in becoming a controller? Just a make a USAJOBS account and wait for them to announce a hiring window?

That's about all you can do now as a potential controller with the FAA. Just sit there and wait for the next bid which will hopefully come out this summer or fall.

So I just took my AT-SAT and I'm not feeling so hot about my overall score. I was struggling with the scenario and I don't think I did so well. I guess we'll see when I get my scores.

Relax, you never know. I took the test a little over six years ago and was landing airplanes the wrong way for 2/3 of the scenario without realizing it and I got a 100.
