Extreme CATIII C

Once you land, how you supposed to find the gate/parking? It must be incredibly difficult to read signs..

I think I was told once that if it is THAT extreme, the. You would exit the runway and hold on a spot and you would be towed to the gate. I can't imagine that would work well in ATL. Low vis taxi lights work really well I have noticed. The lowest I have ever seen is 500RVR in PWM one morning and it was a non event.

In 18,000 + hours of flight time, I've done that about 3 or 4 times. The last time was on the first leg of my initial Captain IOE on the MD-90. It really does work as advertised! Getting to the gate is definitely the hardest part...
