Ex-UAL pilot sues United for defamation

I'd be lying if I said I didn't wish we bought the real radalt aural callouts. But I guess I don't have that crutch? lol "WELCOME TO FU**KING PHEONIX, WITH A TDZE OF ONE FOOT LOWER THAN IT WAS BEFORE JUST NOW!!!"

Yup, I just caused a minor earthquake landing in Guadalajara about an hour ago. A countdown would be really nice at night, just sayinnn

I just completed another ride on Chester Air. It appeals to my basic PNW nature for reasons I can’t adequately describe.
I kinda regret not having them higher on my list when I was throwing apps out. I didn’t know much about them then. I just knew I didn’t want to be tied to the PNW even though it’s beautiful during the summer.

I went by their booth once at NGPA and whoever was there looked at my resume, told me I needed TPIC then discarded my resume in front of me.

Sorry you guys went through that. The culture here is weird. I never even wanted to work here, didn’t even bother applying.

Bro you've come off as an ass for two decades at this point. You ever gonna log off and take the L?

I got into it with people when they were espousing crappy opinions, same thing I'm doing right now with you in fact.

Nah. You got personal with em. I didn’t and don’t do that. You don’t have to agree politically, it doesn’t make one an ass. Rudeness, on the other hand, does.

Ahem, “secured”.

Fun fact, pilot recruiting isn’t really able to keep the resumes, but are able to make notations notes and keep THOSE but not the actual resumes because of some legal reason.

What they’re generally supposed to do is record the name, notes and anything else to identify you in the system and then “secure the document” privately after the career fair.

Most medium and large companies won’t accept resumes outside of some formal process, but airlines will generally capture contact data, whether or not to move the applicant further into the process and then, 100% of the airlines will shred the document so your personal information doesn’t fly away in the wind when someone opens the convention loading dock door.

They did you dirty by showing you what’s behind the screen.

Responsibility for what? The US enforcing its own laws? Or voting for a candidate who said he would enforce the *current* laws?

Unfortunately “on brand” for a couple of the management types that frequent those events. I had face time with nearly all of them before I got hired. The gamut of • I experienced from different people was ultra frustrating.

Meh, I think you probably didn't choose wrong. I'd never recommend to anyone who didn't plan to live on the west coast, especially the PNW
