Envoy TA Voting: The Better Part of Valor

Hell, at one point in time United publushed a plan that was entirely contingent on US Air going out of business. It's not a very friendly industry.

NW did similar. Back in 2002-2003 they were planning on US going out of business and making PHL a 757 base with point to point yurop flights.

And at this point, we're all screwed anyways. We fought the man. We lost. All we have left is how much we give up for it and how much we damage the future of the profession in the process.

And yet your signature.....

REGIONAL PILOTS: Now is the time! The industry has resorted to out-and-out threatening us to squeeze more concessions out of us before they miss the chance. Now we stand up for what's ours! NO CONCESSIONS, NO WAVERING, NO PILOTS GIVE IN TO CORPORATE BULLIES.

Seriously though, best of luck to the Envoy guys.

Off topic of course but meeting the other jumpseater a few moments ago.

I have my "EEE Are-RUH"/crew break sweater on over my uniform.

Jumpseating captain: "What are you on?"

Me: "Oh, the 320. You?"

Him: "717. But don't worry son, one of these days you'll upgrade"

Me: "One day I guess" :)

Ah the ole foot in mouth disease... We've all been there. Won't be that guy's last time either.
