Do employers use Flight Aware to verify flights in your logbook?
Not really since I have waited 30 mins to depart before and all that taxi time is part of the block to block time. Some VFR flights do show up if you are getting flight following.
I cant imagine how useful using it would be, but I suppose a blatant wrongful entry could be caught.

I just wasn't sure where to post it. No catch. Ive only applied for one job and I've been at it for over a year. I'm not sure how the hiring process really goes. A new super (that knows nothing about aviation) was hired at my place of employment and brought up the subject, so I figured Id post the question.AG3FLy- you asked this in another thread also. Whats the catch??

Again, I think you are correct that 121 agencies don't assume that their applicants have falsified time in their books...
Flightaware would be useless unless you're loogbook shows something like 60hrs of ME time in the past week. Flightaware only goes back 3 or 4 days I think.
