They have not in the past. I just asked if it is a possibility and they replied saying that it is possible but not for this hiring as they need 2 weeks to get it all in order and then asked if I would be able to make it on my current travel privileges.
 
Ahhh...I see. Okay. That's fine. Im not too far away..Im thinking about driving.
Not sure if you are aware but I would recommend study hard on the Wonderlic tests. It's not easy and I know that the pass rate is low!
Thanks for the heads up on the travel. You are brave. I didnt want to even ask in fear of getting my head bit off.!!
 
For anyone interviewing today/this week if you could share what Delta has to say about the situation it would be helpful for everyone across the industry
 
I haven't heard from Delta myself. But word I heard through the grapevine is that they plan to continue the interview process. But the class would be delayed until after the freeze. So they can pick the people and get it started ASAP when allowed.
 
Sorry for the delay getting back to all of you. Yes, there is a hiring freeze. They have no idea how long the freeze will be in place. Everything is being run as normal. Testing, then interviews.

Well some good news....Both China and S. Korea have reported 0 new cases in the last few days. So perhaps they have turned the corner. I just wish we could get FOX, CNN, CBS et.al. to calm the blank down and stop slamming us with hyperbolic gibberish. I have heard THE most insane crap in terms of prevention.....people are actually drinking bleach!!!! Wow. sad. Go Delta!! Let us all pray to the Baby Jesus.

Not true at all. Both countries are still reporting new cases daily, albeit at a much lesser rate than the past few weeks. They're reporting a possible cluster at a call center in Seoul, so the increase in cases may not immediately stop just yet. But yes, with the developments in China and South Korea let's hope that they really have turned the corner and will serve as a model for other countries with the same dilemma.

I totally agree with the rest of your post, though.

So they are testing/interviewing but no offers going out until the hiring freeze ends?
 
As someone who didn't pass the wonderlic on Monday, they did tell us failures to not feel too bad because they were pretty sure they were going to have a hiring freeze. No surprise at all.
 
An FYI for anyone who was supposed to test tomorrow; just got a call from DL that testing/interviewing has been cancelled and that hopefully a new application will open up again at a future date.
