Dad is not necessarily representative, but he was particularly (indeed, angrily) displeased with how the profit sharing would have worked under the last TA, and was an adamant no voter. (What's even weirder is that the last time we talked about it right after the TA went away, he was the one who brought it up; I usually know more about what's happening over there than he does. You know, being post-60, an area code and all.

Believe it or not, the family is winding down the SoCal operation. Apparently, now that the children are done using Californian public schools, he no longer feels the need to pay for them.
