You can be cheerful all you want. Just wait until I’ve had coffee.

From my experience the most interesting ones you fly with will be the most quiet and unassuming. The boastful ones are usually zeros. One of the most interesting guys I flew with was a sub hunter in a previous life. Great, funny stories once you got him going.
I don't even drink coffee, haven't had any caffeine in weeks. You can be cheerful all you want. Just wait until I’ve had coffee.

How did you be a pilot, make it to an airline, and call yourself an airline pilot without drinking any coffee?

Coffee tastes terrible. About as bad as an IPA.

No coffee for me either. I’ll usually drink tea.How did you be a pilot, make it to an airline, and call yourself an airline pilot without drinking any coffee?

No. We don’t ride with our FA’s.Has anyone flown with that one FA that calls his/her other FA friend thats also on a trip at 3AM on the shuttle back to the airport. Its dead quiet in the shuttle and they're yappin away.![]()

95% or so. The 5% are about 50% of our short stays. Also, most of our FA’s are on completely different pairings. All your layover hotels are separate among pilots and FAs?

That makes me feel a bit younger.Don’t get me wrong, I love flying, but I’ve been doing it since 1986 so I think I’m outta stuff to fill a conversation about besides “Stupid Pilot Tricks”![]()
NotedI can generally deal with it because it’s the nature of the business, but at my first “OHMYGODDDDRIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEGHT?” all bets are off
