Except that you've just proven my entire point. People subjectively apply the term fact to something that is not a fact at all. Thus the quotes around "fact" in my original post :)

Like I said - - nonsense.


If it's not factual, it's not a fact.


People may present arguments or positions based on opinion or emotion, but unless they are real or actual, they are not facts, with or without quotation marks.

I have been driven to reach my goal of becoming an airline pilot for the last 4 years. I had the great opportunity to reach my goal and dream. After living my dream for almost a year now, I realize it's not as great as I thought. Maybe my dream wasn't to become an airline pilot, but just to become a pilot. I love the flying, but everything else about the job makes it tough. Once I realized that, the pressure was off. :)
 
I'm going to close the thread to restart a new one. Ten pages is plenny 'nuff!
