Delta back at it again, pissing people off

Problem?

@Maximillian_Jenius were you at PSP this year? I was running myself into a frenzy getting people drinks that were in the 8-hour line I completely forgot to socialize.

Nope, I'm just getting back into aviation so at the time didn't see the point in going. Now I know better, I might not have been able to officially talk to recruiters. But I could have volunteered, and unofficially done so, and met people and networked.

My mistake.

Any straight white guy that thinks we need a reason to group together and celebrate has their heads so far up their ass it's not even funny.

Everyday is that day for us. Let everyone else who actually has to put up with their own personal hell at some point in their lives for how they look or who they make whoopie with have their day. Mmmkay?

This stuff happens all the time.

Once upon a time I held a career fair and one of the big draws was

Oh, THAT was popular, wasn't it, @JEP?

Uh. I am drawing a blank on the reference. Ive been to the big informal fair at the Bellagio and it was a HIT. One dude pretty much walked in, networked, and walked out with a class date at Eagle. I think I missed the big fair at the Palms....

That said.....The opportunities that have been made available to anyone attending are unparalleled. A simple cost-benefit analysis would prove that out. Horse, Water, Drink.....

But Im sensing a bit of sarcasm so I am led to believe you are getting at something else.

Ooops, part of a post I was starting and then didn't. A half-post about how a beef with EagleJet cost me about $10,000 and a crap-ton of last minute hassle because they pressured Ameriflight to pull out of my career fair in 2010.

Nevermind, stand down! :)
