I wonder if mandated 6 day work weeks causing workers being around someone you can't stand for days on end and flared tempers due sleep deprivation and fatigue played a role. 2. Dulles definitely needs some work. They need to make the train work correctly, but...
3. New terminal being built, hopefully that's the first step in making it a much better place.
4. If I'm honest, I'm hearing a lot of "first world problems" in these complaints. I've done that walk. It is not 20+ minutes unless you're 80. I could go from the A terminal to well past the train station in 20 minutes.

DCA does not work. I knew that the first time I flew in there. I know there's a lot of widget folks here, so I may be in the minority here, but I'm wondering what banning the sale of connecting tickets would do to DCA traffic levels.

We would welcome the connecting traffic at the proper international hub down the road

I had the same thought for connecting flights. There's other airports more suitable for hubs.

The Link station at SeaTac is well off the terminal owing to post-September 11 hysteria too.

I've taken the metro from downtown Seattle to SEA. I traveled there for surgery and even after surgery don't recall the walk being bad. First world problems.

I'll say this, when I went to legacy interviews I had no shortage of TMAAT stories.

My first day of OE, I watched a knife fight between a ramper and fueler in the ops trailer in PHL.

There were certain rampers that couldn't mix at OAK because of the gangs/crews they were part of outside of work so I literally was taught the street politics, who dated who, who has fought who ect before my first independent job was to show up at 2AM and plan out the staffing for the day so that the 5AM flights didn't erupt into street violence. We even gave out overtime in ways that didnt seem to favor any..."one group".

That said, they kept their noses clean enough to keep the job and worked very hard in return for letting them have their buddies everyday and they honestly were nicer to me than most people I've worked with. Much more so than the rabble rabble white dudes.
