Nah, it's actually fairly late in the game.

"Official" events take 18 months because you've got to RFP, fund the account and start the whole "money dance".

"Unofficial events" take about 12 months to plan the who, what, where and publicize it.

Soon though, I promise.

Yeah yeah yeah I've said it every year... Life has gotten in the way (work schedule). This year though... This year, I'm hoping to make it. I'll have the funds and I have some perceived "seniority" that should help me get the days off. Going for me is long over due.
