As cool as seeing them in flight is, standing on the cold silence of a fresh snowfall with them dancing overhead is a very different experience.

Line checking a captain to Tokyo so about an hour after takeoff, I head back to the suite, and about an hour from landing, I head back to the cockpit.

I was on the way to Portsmouth NH and still a bit away but this thing lumbered overhead I-95 in the distance.
