Came across this useful bit of info on my run yesterday:

Hawaiian's A330 broke yesterday morning. So, the 9PM inbound about 12 hours later turned as a live flight to get the people out and brought a spare part for the plane in the background. But...the part didn't work. So the plane pushing ferried up from LAX with a new part then did the live flight HAL11 for an on-time departure today. Very cool, Hawaiian! First time I've ever seen 2 Hawaiian A330s at SFO. Oddly enough, right after I take this shot, I find out Hawaiian is restarting daily SFO-OGG(last flown with DC-10s in 2000 or 2001) so we'll get 2 A330s side by side every night come November. Still a cool shot.
