glad to see I'm not the only one struggling with noise on long exposures. Just kidding, this is a sweet shot

@rd757 - I saw that behemoth on the ramp this morning. I had to do a double take, at first I thought it said Kalitta. I would of thought a 6k ft runway is a bit short for a 747.
Don't confuse the two. People who live in Manhattan don't go to the beach.Manhattan Beach?
I don't follow any of the mayhem that ensues at k4. Hell, I can barely keep up with the changes going on with k9.This used to be 705CK, it was repurposed for Baltia Airlines according to my old coworkers in ops at K4
@PatrickSo I was sitting at the beach, reading my August 2014 issue of AOPA Pilot, when this guy flew by. Too bad it was after sunset or it might have been less grainy. I was actually all packed up and ready to go and I had to whip the camera out fast to snag this shot. I was not set up for dusk shooting, or airplane shooting for that matter.

tiredcfi, yes I was. I had woken up from a nap (go figure), checked the radar, said "Oh S***" and went out to move it and tie it down. I was helping the guys out there move an Eclipse Jet into the Sandhills Aero hangar when all of a sudden the back wall of the hangar bowed in, some siding ripped off, and I watched the debris of the hangar next door fly towards my already flying airplane. Totally destroyed the wing of a pretty much brand new Malibu right next to mine. I haven't seen so many UAVs in my life. Every plane on the line except for a King Air 350 was literally flying and being held to the ground only by the chains at their tie-downs. Ridiculous! I have more pictures of the damage if anyone is interested.
