Do you know anything about the Piet? Have you flown in it? Though I've never been in one, I'm obsessed. If by some miracle my current employer gets straightened out, I'm seriously considering buying one next summer; and if my job is gone and I get a corporate/freight one where I'm sitting around on call all the time I'll build one!

They just look like so much fun.

The only thing I know about that plane is that it parks in the same hangar as the plane I fly. Cowl is currently off and I don't think it has flown in a while though. Pretty plane and I'd love to go for a ride.

2 things to tip you off: 1.) The C17 has a HUD, and does not have a yoke. 2.) my profile says "FredFlyer" on it.......

The C17 has a stick? I never knew that. I guess every time I've been in one at an airshow it's only been the cargo bay.

Also, I don't think there are any 141s flying (at least not CONUS) anymore.
