Yeah, but it was an absolute blast. I volunteered at youth fly-in today, and total we took about 250 kids flying. Of all of my passengers, none had ever been on an airplane before. I love my job, but today I loved it even more.

This gentleman worked for Lockheed Skunk Works helping with development of the SR-71 Blackbird and is a recipient of the FAA's Chuck Taylor Award. Tonight I got to help him dust off his wings and practice some touch and go's in between snow/rain showers.

Reminds me of the time I had a squirrel ride under the hood of my new Toyota Tacoma. I parked 3 levels down in an underground parking ramp. When I went to start the truck at the end of the day I found it ran horrible. I opened the hood to see he had chewed up my spark plug wires. I saw that squirrel running around in that parking ramp for several days.
