Got to check out the Akron Children's Hospital Air Bear yesterday. The pilot and doctor in charge of the program spoke, very interesting stuff. They are one of the few medevac programs in the country dedicated to children. The chopper is a Eurocopter ec135.

Yup, they are good people. Talk to the pilots all the time.

I think the guy said that paint job alone took 100 hours. The gold color is actually gold too!

stupid blue sky and blue water. here's one that is less blue. i tripped and laid myself out across the edge of the road (stupid flip-flops), did the tuck and roll to protect the camera, and accidentally took a picture in the process-

I'm going to seriously consider renting a plane and grabbing a traveling buddy (pilot hopefully) and making our way over there that looks phenomenal.


plus it's only literally on the other side of the lower 48..

find some other places to go while you're at it, that's a lot of flying to see a lake you can drive around in a few hours.

hahah well obviously I'd make a huge sight seeing trip out of it, the lake would just be the place to turn around and head back since it's all the way in oregon.

Grand Canyon is something that'd be fun to see.

I'm sure this won't happen for at least 6 months so I got plenty of time to think of cool stuff to see
