I don’t know how some domestic pilots would do it. Let alone FAs, I’ve seen some pilots pack 2 cats, a refrigerator, and half their house for a 4-day trip.

IIRC, at least one of them had to set a policy for the crew to stay in uniform until top of climb. This was after a crash where the firemen got very confused who these strange people wearing sweats and pajamas who claimed to be the pilots were.
