MD-90 numbers are way too low. I think we just picked up another 10 on top of the numbers that were purchased a few months ago.

Actually over 200 if you count the -300s in that mix.

The more impressive number to me is that the new United will have 72 777s.....

74 when you count the 2 CAL birds that are complete in SEA, but just waiting for seats from that company that likes to fubar paperwork. There's a slew of 737s up there too with the same problem. Supposedly there were furloughs that were explicitly told that if they didn't eff up the seats they'd be recalled right now for summer flying.

Next up, the newly merged NWA/DAL will merge with the CAL/UAL beastie. Then they'll get capped off with SWA for a little extra something.
