Hmmmmm, does anyone want to talk about NWA's MX and what managment they did to their union after a few months.......nobody arguing that on this forum....:banghead:
If you are going to be the union guy, you had better have the bullicks to stand up and fight against current union standads!!!!

Like I said, what is alpa going to do for yall when the pilotless airplane enters the market....I bet $1000 that you guys are at the frontdoor step begging for the last slot that pays $5.00 an hour....:panic:
Get real and get get organized, don't hold out because someone has an alpa sticker on their flightbag.

do you seriously have to think about that?:banghead:
Dude, not pro union not anti...just saying that you guys put out a lot of mojo for a pretty weak group.
A lot of big-ones walking around out here yet, many union pilots going for whatever they can get.
I have friends at Champ. and don't want to see them loose thier jobs...but you alpa guys only pick on the "bloods":D
What has alpa done for you ALL!!!!! and the rest of the organized groups!!!!Look at the pay rates anywhere.
How you all say you are upstanding pilots compared to the rest...I don't know.

What would you like to talk about in relation to the NWA/AMFA situation? How is it relevant?

not sure how it's relevant, but I am guessing he is talking about the mechanics striking and not appearing to get the support of the pilots.

hell, I don't know what he is getting at....?

Aroo?

I don't even know what I'm supposed to be thinking about. Your posts lack coherence and proper grammar/spelling. It's difficult to follow.

Our "group" isn't weak, the laws are stacked against us. The system has been designed by the powers that be to favor management. What you perceive as our weakness is really just a system that works against us.

A lot of big-ones walking around out here yet, many union pilots going for whatever they can get.

Lacking coherence. Difficult to respond.

What has alpa done for you ALL!!!!!

We would all be making minimum wage while working 18-hour duty days were it not for ALPA. I suggest you read Flying the Line, Volumes I and II to begin your education.

Maybe you should ask UPS about their investment in pilotless airplanes.......Gosh sorry I'm asking future questions that alpa should have to deal with....maybe you guys are covered though?????

Sorry I don't have the gooderness of being a former PCL and current Airtran Pilot with the best pay in the industry...

Simple: ALPA wanted to work with the AMFA mechanics, but they were rebuffed. Early on, long before the AMFA strike came to a head, Captain McClain of NWA ALPA tried to arrange a labor coalition of all the NWA unions, including AMFA. The other groups were interested, but AMFA responded by saying that "we don't need the help of a bunch of bug-smashers." Yes, that's actually a real quote. They really did refer to the pilots as "bug smashers." Obviously, AMFA didn't want any help from ALPA. Had AMFA worked with the labor coalition, then they never would have been faced with a strike in the first place. Instead, they decided to go it alone, and they faced extinction alone.

hell, I don't know what he is getting at....?

Glad I'm not the only one that's having trouble comprehending him.

Who do you work for? What are your wages for the aircraft that you are flying??????oohhhh wait....you are a union member..it's ok. I'll be sure to hold a spot for you at my company once your low cost carrier goes belly-up:bandit:

Our wages are about industry standard. And no thanks on working at your company. I prefer to have a binding contract so I don't have to kiss management ass.
