Lately I have found last minute tickets have been cheaper.

On the northeast corridor it’s a dice roll. Sometimes last minute is cheap. Got one once and even did the “bid” up to business class only to find that I was one of 3 pax in the entire section from NY to DC.

I know a few commuters who buy 10 pack passes for that commute - comes out to $79 one way. But you have to use them in 30-45 days.

There are range bags, and there are flight bags.

Their uses should never be mixed.

. We carry a variety of “range” bags frequently for work.

Though I’ve never put one of them in my day trip backpack… I still check to make sure nothing has come over… like parts or something left in a pocket.

Last week alone- first stop was at a mil. Base so they had to leave the gun cases in the plane then get them later.
