It's not posted on the home page. You have to click on the Applications tab and then the "Submitted" link for the 02/15 application.

Might be a silly question, but since you said you checked your home page... did you click on "submitted" under the application status? That's where it tells me that no referral lists have been created for my announcement, so I've just been assuming that's where this notification would be...

It's all good... I like to sneak in and see what's going on with you FEBOTS :) it makes me feel better seeing that things are moving for someone (and maybe slightly jealous about the fact that I'm still waiting for an AT-SAT email :banghead:)
 
Looking for an opinion. I attended the Chicago PEPC on May 19th, and was given an TOL for Cleveland Center. I am currently awaiting them to finish my background check. This was for the 8/2007 application. I did apply to the Feb announcement and was placed on the referral list. Put it this way...I am not looking to go to Cleveland if I can help it (location preference email came out right before I went to PEPC). Do you think there is a chance they will offer me another location per this 2/2008 app?

First, you don't stand a chance of getting another offer from the Feb announcement if they've already given you the TOL for ZOB from 2007. You'll have to turn down the ZOB offer ASAP.

Second, did you select preferences when you got the email the rest of us got? If so and since you stated you were placed on the Feb 2008 referral list, I'd think you stand a great chance of getting another offer from this coming week's panel. It won't happen until the ZOB offer is history though.
 
I have emailed James Anderson about four times in the past two weeks in regard to this question as he was the person whom offered me my TOL. I have heard nothing from him yet. I imagine he is busy. I have even called the HR dept for my region and they keep referring me to the person who offered me my TOL....you guessed it...James Anderson. Perhaps I should wait till if and when I recieve my FOL before trying to contact anyone. The problem is I dont want the Feb board to pass me by b/c of the TOL for Cleveland Center.

Well how long are you willing to wait? The Feb board meets Tuesday.

So has anyone been placed on a referrall list yet?? It's June 6th.... 4 days left, and I'm still not on one yet. I know that in order for the panels to "meet", they have to have their list of applicants to go over.



I sure hope that this isn't going to be something that they post at 23:59:59 on June 9th......

Well I just checked ASAP and I am on a list. It is about 23:44 my time. I have no idea when they posted it but it happened somtime after noon today. Note said as of 06/06/08 you have been put on a referral list and may or may not be contacted please check back for further information.:rawk:

This is the message:
Issued on 06/06/2008 for the Throughout The Nation duty location at the FG-1 grade/payband.
  • Your application is among those being reviewed by the office with announcement # AAC-AMH-08-PUBNAT1-08232. You may or may not be contacted for an interview. Please continue to check back for status updates.

This is what it said. I am pretty sure that it is the same one that everyone gets except for maybe the list number, but I am not sure about that.

I got that message too... I wonder if everyone just got that message? That would make sense, given that they won't likely reject people without at least reviewing their application.

Or has anyone actually been put on specific referral for a location yet? I assumed that would happen later this week.

Even with no specific news, it is nice to see something new on the page for once. :)
 
The reason it says Nationwide is because they're not using ASAP to do any geographic preferences. And there are quite a few people who did not get on the referral list. They check all the applications to make sure the applicants are qualified before they refer them to the panels (which is what the referral list is for).

There is a chance. I was at the Fort Worth PEPC and received a TOL for the Cleveland Center. About a week later, I received a email from someone at the faa stating that I was on the list for Charlotte and Cleveland and that if I decline the Cleveland offer, I would have that TOL redrawn up for Charlotte. Of course, that was right up my ally since I live in Charlotte so I declined Cleveland.

I haven't received a FOL yet but I beleive they're still processing my background checks.

I have heard conflicting information from the FAA. I was told that I could be selected to interview for another location even though I have a TOL.

Looks like I will be calling back just to be sure.

Has anyone else heard anything on the subject?
