**Any moderator, can you please PIN this thread for now until the lists are placed up that way we all have quick access to this thread and don't have to go searching for it?**
So has anyone been placed on a referrall list yet?? It's June 6th.... 4 days left, and I'm still not on one yet. I know that in order for the panels to "meet", they have to have their list of applicants to go over.
I sure hope that this isn't going to be something that they post at 23:59:59 on June 9th......

I have not been placed on a referral list either! I'm getting pretty nervous.
If I am one of very few then I probably need to call...I mean I made the SC referrals.

I think the meeting panels on the 9th and 10th are to decide who goes ON the referral lists, not to pick FROM the referral lists. As far as I know, no one from the Feb group has been put on a referral list yet, but we should (hopefully) all be put on one by next week.

I'm not either, but I dont think that it is anything to worry about because it says "No referral lists have been made." I'm pretty sure that even if you are not on referral lists, referal lists would pop up in that spot and say that you are not on the list. So no worries.

That makes more sense. I was wondering how ALL states can meet on the same day and pick a ton of people and every be notified in 1-2wks. The govt doesn't move that fast for anyone. Besides that would create a massive backlog of OKC students at one time.
I remember reading that selection would occur in the July/August time frame. Sounds like their procedures haven't changed afterall.
I sure hope VA and WV meet in early July

True. I applied to a non-trainee ATC announcement (mistakenly).
It showed on ASAP when referral list was created and said,
"Referral list FA-AAC-08-09769: Issued on 11/30/2007 for the Throughout The Nation duty location at the AT-AG grade/payband.
- A list of the most qualified applicants has been sent to the office with announcement # AAC-AMH-08-CTO-07590. Your application was not included at this time. Please continue to check back for status updates."

That's funny because when I called the famous number and spoke to someone named Pam she said they were scrambling to have the referral lists ready for the panel meeting on the 9th. This is really starting to become torture........

Well, the original poster stated that OKC would be working hard to get the referral lists completed in time which would imply that the panels are choosing FROM the referral lists.

Panels don't meet to create referral lists. The lists, I believe, are simply generated from a database (kind of like sorting an Excel spreadsheet). What they're probably trying to get ready before the panel is the information for each person who was referred, so the panels can have it right in front of them.
I doubt this would create a backlog of OKC students. Right now, classes are going unfilled and are even having to get consolidated (previously they had terminal specific and enroute specific "Basics" classes). OKC has been prepping for mass quantities of students for a while now.

x20Really? First, it's the guv,ment. Second, I think I'm safe to assume that you were aware of the very long process before you applied, so it shouldn't be a shock to you.
Back when I bought my house, the closing wait was 45 days. I knew that ahead of time, and as eager as I was, not knowing anything on the 44th day didn't surprise me one bit.
Several posters stated up to 1.5 years (extreme) in processing time, so seeing as the app only closed less than 4 months ago, I say it's still going quite well!

That was kind of anticlimactic. I knew it was coming, probably today, and I still don't know anything about when the next contact will be. I DO know that I can now stop checking ASAP... nothing else will be updated there. From now on all contact will be via email/snail mail/phone.
