Best Restaurant by Airport…

Title says it all… what are your favorite places to eat in the various Sky-greyhound stations around the US?

I don't about the best, but a pretty darn good restaurant is above the FBO at KHND. I frequent it, and haven't been disappointed yet.

This seems like a dubious choice unless you’re headed for the hotel afterwards

Beaumont Hotel…great food and great people. Land on the grass strip, hook a sharp right turn towards town, taxi right down the city street; don’t worry, the cars will give way. Just park in the grass lot across from the hotel and walk right in. Fun experience!!

Employee cafeteria at TPA was a hidden gem - not sure if it's still open with COVID, but you could get a killer breakfast burrito there for like $2.50

Waypoint Cafe in Camarillo or Beeb's in Livermore.
Waypoint Cafe sets the bar.

My out of country pilot friends ( on lay-over) are amazed how many US airports have a restaurant. When they start to get used to it I take them to The Waypoint. One of the few places you can tell kids to; ”To go play on the runway”.

Cafe Rio in SLC for killer steak tacos

Cousins BBQ for brisket/Dicky's for burned tips in DFW

La Carreta in MIA for pretty much anything (Gotta try that other place, Ku Va, heard about it from two sources now)

Decent bison burrito (more like a wrap) in the Taco shop in BZN
