You guys are sooooo right! Mesa is so totally awesome!! Like, who cares how much money you make as long as you get the turbine time right??? Then you can go be an 1337 777 f0!!!!1!!!!111ONEONEONEONE!!!

Look - I've done my part to fix the world.

I don't think janitors make enough money, so I've refused to be one of those.

I don't think garbage men make enough money, so I've refused to be one of those.

I don't think people who pick tobacco and sweet corn make enough money, so I've refused to be one of those.

I don't think bus drivers make enough money, so I've refused to be one of those.

I don't think nurses make enough money, so I've refused to be one of those.

I've done MY part - get off my back!

But's it's only because they haven't done enough to educate the public.

Jim,
Your statement says enough, that you are so blind and single minded, no one ever said Mesa was a great place to work. You just think that is what people are saying. My situation is 100% different from yours and Mesa is actually a great place to work. And lets cover the money stuff (my wife is a 1st grade teacher) we have a car payment, a mortage (in San Francisco area) we have my school loans and the other related costs of life. And we put away almost $500 a month into savings. So I am confussed how I make so little, but I have so much. At Mesa we do work more then most airlines, but I can tell you the stories from people that get screwed or feel that they were treated unfair, will probably feel that way in ever job they have. I have never been JA, I have been paid for what I have worked, I have been released really from shifts, I have had at least 12 days off since coming online. Of you have any real questions about Mesa, I will love to ansewer them, I am not defending them, but I feel that you and alot of people have influence on the younger pilots, and just like the public they need to be informned, not just opinions.

OK, I haven't been paying much attention to the details here, but I'm going to have to give this one to Jim.

You know there is a pretty active Mesa captain on here that has told us about the horrible work rules at Mesa, right?

And the 12 year olds witih "Dead Kennedy's" shirts on.

Perhaps I should call it 'The Beaten Horse'

Yeah, call it Hot Topic and you'll attract the guys who got booted off MySpace for cheesing on 14 year old girls.

And the 14 year old girls on there will be "like, I was, like, on this plane, like, the other day or something? And it was like, tiny? And dirty? Um, like, is that normal or something? OMG, there are like, old people on here!"

What SFLAX means is that his WIFE puts away $500/month :) . Being a government employee in that area I can imagine she makes decent coin (although cost of living certainly counters most of the added income I'd bet).

Fortunately, I don't think the majority of the mesa pilots share his thoughts on the subject. I bet they also know how to spell answer, confused, and informed, but that's just a guess. Apparently that's not on the written there.

Flyover,

Great use of editing out the context of the statement. I never said the work rules did not suck. I have always stated that to be true. But at this time in my life, Mesa works for me, may not work for you. I know that Captians get alot more of BS and crap at Mesa b/c they are very short handed.

I agree my wife makes more then most public school teachers, but when the average price of a condo is in the mid 300's, and all the other added stuff is higher, the little extra she make is washed away. As for spelling really do not care so much about it. Never took the time to learn how to, to busy.

Ironic that those were the words mispelled, huh?

I thought it was more ironic that his wife is a teacher, but I was trying to avoid taking too many shots in one reply.

I think you are doing greatl. Most Americans don't know another language. Yet you communicate pretty well at English. What is your native language?

I know, right? It's like, way too easy. Especially when the guy just posted how he just writes crap to get people riled up, and then was offended when I called him a flamebaiter.
Such genius can only come from a Mesa FO.
Schooling him would be like beating a retard with a boat anchor: It's ungratifying and the retard never gets any smarter.

Go for it. Make the joke, its fine. I have always been a bad speller, writter and other things, but all those things I really could not care about at all. Life is good right now. Have a good flight, has your instructor allowed you to leave the patten yet.

He is a pilot at a REAL regional XJT!

As oppossed to the fake ones, like the ones you play on the computer. Capn Jim, nice retard comment. Was it hard when you found out that the small bus only took you to school and not the other kids. Offended, come on Jim, offend me you could not ever get close.

I'm glad you're happy - there are a lot of people in this world who aren't. It certainly says a lot that you are happy working at Mesa - things certainly must have been rough growing up :).

As for leaving the pattern, I get to do a cross country tomorrow! Can't wait.

P.S.: This thread is about to sprial out of control...I think this place has started down the path toward flightinfoism

Yeah, I'm done. There's nothing more to say that wouldn't seem, well, Lav-worthy. I think it's justice enough that he came here to rile us up, and instead was himself riled.
