Atlantic Southeast Airlines/ExpressJet

I got the same email--clicked on my green checkmark, and went through to answer the new questions on the ASA addendum, as well as updated my times. Clicking on the green check re-opens the addendum, and scrolling through it shows the new questions--just had to fill in the blank spots.

Hey Top Gun i got that message as well but i also have an internal recommendation so we'll se what happens! The same thing happened with me with colgan/mesaba and the called me 2 weeks later.

hmm i didn't get the message :(
Probably because I only have 30multi/1000 tt
Oh well, I updated also just in case :)

Thanks for the heads up, good luck

I did not get the message, but meeting recruiters in-person worked out. Started the interview process at the career fair--more to follow. Many Thanks to JC'ers for the great posts on the process. :)

Same here. Took the Tabular test and will be invited for the interview this week pending results on the tabular test. It was nice meeting you future_av8er. Keep me posted on your situation.

yup 11th and 21st for XJT. ASA no word yet, but they said the only find out at the last minute also.

Did they mention how long it's taking guys to hear back after interviews. I was Friday / Saturday and forgot to ask but i have another offer and don't want to keep them hanging too long. Worse comes to worse I can accept and then change my mind if I get it but I don't like doing that kind of stuff.

1-3 weeks.

I have friends that waited up to two weeks to hear something . I herd news in less than 24 hours but i am guessing part of that was due to the fact they were trying to fill the june 6th class. Phone Call = Good / Email = Not so Good.

I have 600TT/65ME....what are my chances of getting a call back and at least be considered for an interview? I would love to work for ASA, have been wanting to for a while and be based out of Detroit...What a dream.

Interviewed last week--gouge is spot-on and very helpful. July 11th class is full, and I'm hoping to hear something from them this week. Hoping for July 25th class--it was not full as of last week. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I interviewed June 15th and they told us if we passed everything they would call us for the July 25th XJT class in Houston. I got a call for the July 11th class date 8 days later. I was so excited to not only get a call back but also an earlier class date! They are hiring roughly 32 guys per month indefinitely for XJT and have no projected class dates for ASA but said they expect some to open up in the fall.
ASA/Express Jet is an excellent company and was definitely my top choice. The interview process went very well. It was the exact same as all the gouges i have read. This was the process (1) "Our company is awesome" video. Dale Cordova talked about the company and asked if we had any questions. Then we handed in all our paper work. Make sure it is in order. Use paper clips to hold sections together. (2) 30 question multiple choice test and 1 essay question, mine was "describe your personality". (3) Technical interview and HR. Same questions from the gouge. Study Jepps very well and know why you want to work for ASA/Express Jet. (4) finger prints. Then they get you a taxi to the drug testing facility and you're done with day 1. Day 2 is just the sim. 737-200 sim. The sim was booked or broken when i did mine so we just used 737-200 FTD. No big deal very basic and the instructor tells you the whole profile. No auto pilot, fms or flight director. They just want to see basic pitch and power skills. we got done on day 2 around 12pm. Get a good nights rest and eat a big breakfast! We never got a break for lunch on day 1.
