Asking for the jumpseat and other lost traditions

I don't have everyone else's book. I'll just continue to check in with everyone just like I've been doing. Shake hands, slap fives, etc. Come to think of it, slapping fives may become my new go to!

My comment was more in reference to people saying we are being fatuous...

Sure, but ITT we see a lot about people insisting that it be done this way or that way that in many cases the relevant manuals are non-specific or even contradictory about. Then acting like someone has whizzed on the holy cross of captains authority when the book says different than their particular 10-step secret handshake way of doing things.
