I would figure the fact that obtaining a line is going to happen int he short term it would be easier to predict. Wouldn't call it that useless. Obviously movement can stop in a an instant but as long as hiring is fluid it is worth while to know when choosing an airline.

ExpressJet hiring update:
  • March - 30
  • April - 32
  • May - 32
You can expect hiring to continue for 2013 at a rate of 2 classes per month. After May, expecting a minimum of 26 per month with the possibility of larger classes depending on attrition.
 
Got a question and its probably just a rumor. Is XJT getting bigger airplanes? I was loitering around at HND the other day and struck up a chat with a former XJT guy. He said HEEEE heaarrrrd from a current XJT guy who heard from another XJT guy, they were getting E-Jets

We have a pay rate, but that's all. There's nothing that anybody knows about in the pipeline right now.
 
I was told and my interview the other day, that the parent company has options on the MRJ and were maybe looking at the bigger ERJ but it was all just speculation still.
 
I wish I had the mins... I'm flying my butt off right now trying to make up for it, but it seems for every 50 hours I add, their minimums go up by 100. The 500XC is a real killer, as well.
