ASA/ExpressJet

Are the E145 leases/contracts supposed to expiring soon? The 65/mo is purely for attrition right?

As I understand the issue, the aircraft are in different groupings of CPA's. 20 here, 30 there, and then a majority of the planes in a big CPA that will run to at least 2018? 2020? Something like that.

Just interviewed last week in ATL. There were 6 total and 3 were let go after lunch. They called me the next day and gave me an Oct 7th class. I politely declined and thank them for their time. They said that they are currently increasing to 4 classes a month for the remainder of the year. Most going to the ERJ side with a few sporadic CRJ mixed in.
Everyone that I interviewed with had over 3000 total time with prior 121 experience. If they are hard up for pilots it did not appear that way since the 3 they let 3 go were current 121 guys. Have no idea why 2 of them were not offered a job but the third guy said he did not do well on the tech test.
I have tons of gouge if anybody needs it.

Where did you decide to go? I can't even get them to look at me but I don't have 121 experience.

Is it people failing the job knowledge test?

You are picking TSA over XJT? May I ask why?
TSA has newly signed contract and is a smaller company with only around 300 pilots. No pilot there is making it a career place so movement tends to be faster. Seems that they are only taking people that have at least 1000 hrs of 121 time for some reason or another.

Philo, do you mind sending me the gouge for XJT? I got called for an interview yesterday and now need to gouge up! Thanks.

Maybe because the sims in IAH are located in the same building they do interviews in. No idea how ATL is set up.

If you need the sim after interviewing in ATL, they send you to IAH on a different day to complete it.
It's normally people who may not be current or have some sort of training history.
^ This this what the recruiting department told us not too long ago.
