Wow that seems pretty quick considering I don’t even think they have even contacted any applicants regarding interviews yet.

Yeah but 2 things to remember on that front:
1.) Those that want it bad enough would move with a weeks notice if they had to.
2.) It usually takes about 3-5 weeks to process an applicants background and new hire paperwork. So With that in mind, you can ballpark when interviews would happen.
A coworker got an interview invite today, looks like they're starting to!
Is she from Horizon?
Its not really that quick. They could easily have offers on the table by Sept. 15 since they already began the initial phone invites. And then 4 weeks till Oct. 15 is well within reason for conducting electronic background checks & drug tests. Its been done in less time than that. And especially if its a smaller size class the processing will be faster.

It appears that 6 people were hired from a pool of about 400 applicants.
2 from Horizon
1 from Northern Air Cargo
1 from Air Wisconsin
1 from Spirit
1 from Allegiant

So considering there were 5 interview invites and 6 hires basically I’m reading that if you get an interview you are basically in?
