Thank you

I was hoping I would get one of these trips on reserve to be able to check out the air park. (and meet another JC'er) Unfortunately, they keep getting snapped up.
These days it's rare for a trip to sit more than 5 minutes before it gets snatched up, and that's only because there's (sometimes) a 3 minute lag from when we drop it to when you guys see it
But it is sad to see how many planes have been shuttled over there this week. Hoping it's not too long before we can bring them home.

When things get up and moving it’ll be neat to watch the MITO scramble. Im at a remote field and they have the ERJ’s stacked up like cordwood. Actually looks reminiscent of the airports former AFB days with Brazilian wonder jets parked all nice and pretty on the tarmac in lieu of the bomber escort jets.
Yup. Are you one of the ERJ drivers? I heard one of the local area Envoy FO’s was stuck at EWR about a week ago when they weren’t able/allowed to move anything.
No. I used to overnight there after it was a SAC base. IIRC 20d right D-> UUDD
I did many a "lost weekend" at SAW right after it took over from MQT, at the wonderful Red Fox Inn. I think the place next door was called the Club Americana, or something like that. $.25 drafts with all the snowmobilers was aways a great time.
Oh, I remember hearing stories about that place. We stayed in Gwinn.
I've picked up jets out of Kingman before..
