In a previous life I washed RON aircraft at my hometown airport. We cleaned both of those airplanes, among others, more than once when they still had the 'nwa' scheme on them.

And now I have a sad.

Probably already asked an answered but can you take a tour of it?
Back in the early 90s my line service buddies and I would rent a 172 out of KBUR after work and fly up to KMHV in the middle of the night. We'd park at the base of the tower and just walk out into the boneyard. I can remember being happy that the work issued sweatshirts were light grey as I snuggled up against a 747 MLG to avoid the sweeping eye of the security guard trucks spotlight. We meant no harm and I guess we might have been guilty of trespassing but we never got into any trouble. Fun times.
