Any good Gifts?

I got an intro flight in a helicopter(which I'm going on today), a handheld navcom and some other small stuff.

One of my pals has parents in PHL.

He big a long layover in PHL and only tells his sister that he's going to be in town for Christmas.

They secretly coordinate to have him picked up at the layover hotel in PHL, he changes into a Santa Claus outfit and walks in as dinner is starting and shocks the heck out of his family.

I got a pair of black boots that I can wear through security checkpoints and a digital camera. We also got lots of baby stuff.

I got a Hoist 310 home gym, a new watch (which my sister gets me every year cuz i always need one)... home depot gc from my old man and a day to myself on xmas!!

I hauled in a fujifilm finepix s3000 digital camera, clothes, a calender, memory card for the camera, and a bad@ss book(Milestones of Aviation from the Smithsonian Institute).

A very heavy coffee table book called Chronicle of Flight (A year by year history of aviation). About 500 pages of aviation goodness, and I look forward to (slowly) thumbing through it.

CitationKid: One of your gifts is worth all of mine combined

I got some cash along with an Onkyo surround sound system, and some nice clothes.

I gave my sister/brother n law and parents tickets to Cirque Du Solei. The La Nouba show near Disney. Has anyone ever been to one of these shows. I have heard nothing but good things and they were expensive as heck. So I hope they love it... It was great to see how excited they were to get the tickets. Truly one of the best feelings in the world...

well, I got a very very very nice Anne Klein watch from my boyfriend. His parents gave me a cedar chest. His father's a very talented carpenter, and made it for me. It is incredibly gorgeous.

My mother gave me Logbook Pro (I have the greatest mom, she thinks the flying stuff is SO cool). My sister gave me an espresso machine, from which I'm enjoying a nonfat mocha as I type this, and a purse. From my grandparents and my uncle, an assortment of clothes and a pair of shoes.

I am just happy that it didn't snow up here in chicago for christmas. My dad would have had to plow for IDOT during the day on xmas eve & day. Last year, he had to plow xmas eve and didnt get home till 8 A.M. on xmas day.

It is an awesome gift, my Mom is into the quilting thing and she gave each of our kids a very nice hand made quilt. The one she made our son took her 3 years to make and it is beutiful ( as quilts go ), it has a hand stiched bear in a wood scene. The kids got quilts about 3 yrs. ago and we still use them in the TV room, besides that they are great conversation pieces.
My Mom made each of my brothers and sister a quilt as a wedding gift with a common piece in each quilt, Dad made a quilt stand in the old fashion style. Quilts Rock!

My wife...gotta love her...gave me a Citizen Skyhawk watch.

This watch kicks ass.

And it's cool to finally have the "pilot watch"...of course now I just need the pilot training and the pilot job and I'm all set.

Lets see

Santa brought me Flight Simulator 2004, a Jeppeson Flight Bag with all of the Private Pilot Books & feul tester and other things, a radio for when i run, another discovery flight coupon (since im not allowed to start my lessons until after school ends), and thats about it...

But, my little brother got me a yoke and rudder pedals for FS! They are sooo cool, ive been flying like all day when im home..he also got me a model 727.....My dad also got me 2 DVD's, The Wright Stuff, and Pioneers in Aviation

Santa also had to bring some other stuff late, as i shall be federal expressed all of Boeing's fleet in 1:400 models as soon as the Backordered ones arrive..Oh yeah, and one of my best gifts was going to the airport to meet the guy who runs it (my mom works with his wife)...His office overlooks the express gates, and all 4 runways are visible from it...Overall, it was a great Christmas with all of the family!
