Yeah, I've been keeping up with the "other" forum, but I guess I'd like to get a few JC guys perspectives...Dudes in the respective thread on APC were very helpful, try there.
All in all I liked everything I saw and heard including from my buddy that spent 8.5 years there. Weren't it for Envoy's MIA base, there's a good chance I'd end up with ZW.

It's a 5 year deal, so at a minimum, there's that. By that time I'd hope to have moved on by then. I too question the 200 only fleet...I hear they are pretty used and abused. My guess is after 5 years they get extended and keep pulling cheap frames from the desert, or at some point, United tries to pull AWAC into a wholly owned type scenario. I don't think any ERJ's are possible due to UAL's scope currently unless that gets shuffled and other regionals lose lift.I don't and have never worked there, but they've always been one of the more respected regionals out there in terms of both the company and the pilot group. I know the future was somewhat questionable over there because all they have are CRJ-200s which some claim is a dead aircraft. I'm not sure if the recent contract with United made that issue go away of if it is still a concern.

Except you have to have an undergraduate degree to get the job at United even if you pass the CPP interview program.

Everything within me pains to say this, but I'm pretty sure you live near ORD and you should really consider Envoy because you don't need a degree to flow to AA

Lots of guys at the old school go for the shiny Brickyard 175 instead of the old boring 145's with the flow, and then OMG 2.5 years to hold Miami and god forbid you upgrade, since then MIA is even more senior on the CA side.
It's always a compromise. Pick what's going to work for you best. Might as well in this market.

I keep hearing Envoy has the worst reserve rules of almost any regional...I have to say that's one thing giving me pause about Envoy.
