Announcement Ending 05/02

No email here yet although I'm not worried and neither should anyone else. They send geos out to everyone that qualified on the ATSAT and is in the current hiring pool or still available from a previous hiring pool. They aren't weeding anyone out at this point. :cwm27:

Still waiting in WV. Here is something that I have always wondered and one of you might know. We always note that they aren't weeding anyone out at this stage, but I figure not everyone from PUBNAT2 is on this forum. Does anyone have an idea of how big the actual selection pool is for us? Just wondering so (logical) guesses are fine. Oh, and if everyone from the PUBNAT is on here then I guess its true that this is the center of the universe and all our chances are pretty good.
 
My ASAP page looks the same but I got a Email from Robinson aviation on the 30th of JUL. I picked the 14th of AUG to test, hopfully I do well.

No, I haven't really tried to contact them for a tour. I was to busy starting this new job. As for my second choice I really can't go anywhere else which kinda sucks. I love florida and wouldn't mind going but my girl may get a scholership to tulane for law so I would wanna stick around for that. Plus I already have a job that seems alright for now so I could just wait for a slot to open at msy. How bout you?
 
Hello all, just found this forum while searching general info on FAA academy and such. As you all can see in my sig, I applied in PUBNAT2 and still waiting on my Geo Pref e-mail. Looks like only a couple people have gotten it so far. Great site by the way, alot of good info. I'll be back with any updates (hopefully soon!).

yeah, i'd like to stay here, my wife has a pretty good job and i've got a two year old. but for my second choice i put down, NC. i also stated that i'd go pretty much anywhere so i could get my foot in the door

That's funny, I'm in pretty much the same boat as you. I really want to get in, but there are only a couple of airports that I could actually accept a job at. My wife is in pharmacy school for 2 more years, so I am kinda tied to Orange County.

I just hope they don't cut me because I am going to have pretty specific requests for geo prefs...

Im sure its gonna hurt a lot of us but don't forget there are 5 pubnat's. If you can't leave the area all you can do is try for it

Well then you have a much better shot then me at getting in. If I don't get in I guess I will just have to stick it out in the gulf a lil longer. All I know about NC is cape Hateras. That was pretty cool. When you get your geo pref, how long do they give you to answer back?

I'm just kinda shocked; I figured once the emails started coming, they'd keep coming. Seems weird to me that they'd send out a few emails on the 4th and then wait several days after that to send out more...the waiting continues...

Where are you trying to go? I take it you haven't gotten your geo email either? It is weird that its been over a weeks since others got them
 
First post here.. I have been following along in this forum and am still waiting on my Geographic Preferences e-mail. Anyone else trying to get into ZOB? (Oberlin, OH) or Cleveland Hopkins?
