An "open house" at Jet University? YAY!

Re: An "open house" at JetU? YAY!

As of now, yes, I am going!

I'll be down as long as you liquor up your neighbors for me.

:D :sarcasm: etc.

Not that I need liquor or anything, but if I'm going to travel 1000 miles, I want as many variables working on my side.;)

Re: An "open house" at JetU? YAY!

I'd only go for the CRJ sim time.

I hear it's an invaluable leg up on the career ladder.

Re: An "open house" at JetU? YAY!

JC shows up as result 5 on a google search for jet university. Not bad. But could use some improvement.

Re: An "open house" at JetU? YAY!

You should buy MikeD some beers and learn how to go off the grid. :laff:

Yes gentlemen....come see the beautiful clear, calm and quiet nights out in the north-central desert of Nevada.....

:pirate:

Re: An "open house" at JetU? YAY!

So how's the inflight service on "Janet" anyway, Mike? :) Don't answer, don't answer, I don't need to catch any heat from both Chemtrail conspiracists AND the Federal Govmnt!

Re: An "open house" at JetU? YAY!

As of now, yes, I am going! I might even make the flight from PMP to FXE for it! I'm about 12 minutes from FXE driving and not even a minute in the air.
If you want JC business cards, let me know...It would be a good idea to hand them out for those who do show up and tell them to do the research before signing! HAHA

Re: An "open house" at JetU? YAY!

Airline representatives and professional airline pilots will be on hand to answer questions.

Ummmm, who and WHY? JetU's bread and butter (cough Pinnacle cough) isn't hiring, and has already told the guys in the pool they won't be for the rest of the year. Sure, you can pay some "professional airline pilots" to show up and talk about it. My bet is they're furloughed ex-JetU guys that don't have enough time to do anything else. JetU says "We'll pay you to come down and feed you." If I was working at McDonald's to pay off my $100K loan, I'd jump on it, too.

This sounds like it has the potential to be really fun. Shame I'm still employed. Wait. Nevermind. If you go, please take pictures.

I got the email, and was curious as to how I ended up on their list. Apparently it came from premiere aircraft sales. I am guessing since JETU has diamonds, that they are associated with premiere. I am sensing some real desperation out there in certain GA segments.

If only I had done the CRJ sim I wouldn't have to be working for one of them foreign airlines.

um . . . I want JC business cards! I can't go to this, but I probably would have needed a second order by now ;)

What's the difference between the professional flight instructor and the certified?

The professional flight instructor is the employed one....you will be the unemployed one sinking under a load of debt after you become "certified".

THANK YOU guys so much for saving me from these places! I was literally filling out a loan application from PNG so that I could attend DCA until I stumbled upon JC. Now the loan application is in the shredder and these tool bag admission officers are calling me twice a week to ask when I'm coming to the dealership I mean flight school. God what was I thinking.
