Trust me when I say this, at AMF you will most definitely be working in the "winter." As a matter of fact its their busy season AKA "PEAK." Filling the gap for your resume sounds fine and all, but if you're just going for one winter then go into the 99, they may want a contract for the type rated airplanes. Apply and see, they're pretty desperate at this point.
Working at work is not an issue. I've had a few years of 135 ops in AK; Loading and unloading caravans and beavers all day, so I'm ok with that side of it. I've searched and searched for info on the contract issue and can't find an answer.
Anyone know if new hires are signing a contract of any sort? For different equipment?
