The guy that landed with the nose gear up in SXM, kept his job btw...
Why wouldn't he have? He reported an issue and tried to get the nose wheel down...

The news agency. Edited and no further commentSo who embellished the article? The pilot? AMF?
I've seen the after-math of a super decathlon hitting tower cables and the 99 doesn't match the damage.
No, but last I checked, neither of us, or anyone that currently or previously worked at AMF, are engineers or accident investigators.Well I think we have all seen airplanes hit objects and none of them have ever looked like that.
Orange Air is looking for some MD-80 first officers. Must be will to relocate to Sanford, FL. Late July ground school. I'm an ex-Ameriflight pilot and I know if you made turbine PIC at AMF, you can fly.

All AMFers owe it to themselves to stay FAR away from this operation. Just a heads up to the alum.
I miss your scent...
Haha, so what does it count towards? To address the logging of SIC time, AMF just published a notice regarding this:
Basically, the SIC (under the exemption) can log the time, but it doesn't count towards time required for an ATP certificate.
A handful have bailed for the regionals after only a couple months in the 99 too! If they qualify for the restricted ATP, they're probably OK (You could get 300 hours in 6 months on some of the runs) if they came here with 700 hours or more, but I'm wondering about a few of them now...To address the logging of SIC time, AMF just published a notice regarding this:

Not many actually police this. It's why you have guys at regionals as captain that went there with nothing but unqualifying 135 time. Company was too stupid to know differently, and even the local FAA guys generally don't know.A handful have bailed for the regionals after only a couple months in the 99 too! Yeah...I'd like to know the same. I'm an AMF employee for 2 more days and have yet to see a notice, but I've heard the same thing. I thought legal total time was legal total time per the FAA...Can you post the official notice?
Why does it, or how does it not count towards ATP mins per the regs? AMF just loves shooting themselves in both feet.
