I got a hold of her again last week, and she told me to call back tomorrow... who knows..
I talked to her last week and she said they weren't hiring right now, just accepting resumes to put into a future hiring pool.

Just spoke with someone from pilot recruiting on the phone...the next class, March 9th, is a mixed class with Cheiftan, BE-99, and Brazilia FO's. OAK needs 2 Chieftan pilots for those interested.
Spoke with Sylvia today, she said they will be setting up interviews for the next 2 weeks.
looking for CA and OR Chieftain pilots, CVG EMB FOs, and SJU, also some Metro pilots.
What time have you been able to get a hold of her. Is she in the office during the day or night? Thanks!
Come November when I get current again and everything I'm definitely shooting my app that way, I hope they're hiring!
You getting back into the game for 3 more weeks?

Turnover is high. Some positions/bases/assignments are like black holes, you can get in but can't get out. That's why they advertise for pilots regularly. A good number wash out of training - sounds simple but: make sure you're up to speed on basic IFR stuff if you go there. That cannot be emphasized enough.

Is anyone familiar with Amflights policies/procedures on a) training washouts and b) quitting to get out of 'black hole outposts', and subsequent attempts at being hired?
