No. It just means if they decide to do another class within 6 months, they will pick people from the pool.

American has hired from every pool since 2022.

They did not hire from the last 2022 pool. Those offers expired.

I can’t speak on all the hiring classes, but I know this last class in August there was some that were in the pool from interviews earlier this year. I thought I heard at least one was even waiting since January.

Bottom line if your status hasn’t changed to “Not Selected” you’re in the running still. It’s not over till it’s officially over. We plan to grow next year and need quite a few dxers. Not the amount United is hiring, but a good amount.

I’m currently in the pool, but I now have an interview for their Operations Specialist position. I just don’t want to “ruin” my opportunity of getting selected from the pool by attending this interview, if this makes sense.
